Hello everyone and welcome to Rare QT Online Boutique! I am Dee Luv, a casual marketplace reseller - who is always looking to clear out unused and very gently used items from my closet! Being a professional thrifter, (turned hobbie), I decided to make time to create this website to offer another alternative to reselling my personal items! I've inevitably developed an art, passion, and craft, for finding unique and rare items since I was a kid. And, I would be remiss to not contribute my GOD given attributes to having grown up in a solid middle class, military environment, centered on spiritual values - with an entrepreneurial vibe. Seem like I was about 8 or 9 - years old when my parents taught me to shop for myself. I would get $10.00 in an allowance to spend. J. C. Penny's or Spartan's were one of the few retailers I were allowed to shop. Checking for sales - I would find 1 outfit, earrings, a small treat, and my bus fare back home. Even now looking back as an adult, I often think about how much $10.00 could buy back then, compared to today! Fast forward - I'm amazed at how my shopping skills has paid off!

Growing up, not only was I taught to shop frugally, "thriftin' " was the alternative when shopping new wasn't in the budget. I vividly remember when buying second-hand was often referred to as "junkin ", and considered marginally unpopular during that time. Ideally, the concept of shopping second-hand was considered "unsanitary" and carried stigmas. However, there were actually more thrifters shopping second-hand than most people realized!. This was the best kept secret! I have to presume that the mind-set of shoppers shifted and retailers and shoppers, alike - seriously started to realize the benefits of second-hand or resell shopping. Plus, who doesn't enjoy finding an awesome find at a fair price?

Truth is, we all enjoy finding rare or cherished collectibles to enjoy for ourselves or to give to a family member or friend. I personally, have always enjoyed learning the concepts of earning and saving: the family entrepreneurial ventures, aunties antique shop, cousin's thrift store, going to garage sales, and now we have social media resell platforms - all of which continued to fuel my passion for finding great stuff at a fantastic savings! Being able to spot and find quality things like: trinkets, clothing, figurines, and other fun items at an affordable price resulted in an accumulation of things that must go! It's weird how you don't realize how much stuff you've accumulated over the years until it's time to downsize! :-0

However, the fun part was going through everything and seeing all of the unique and rare stuff that could make great gifts for someone! That's when I knew it was time to add my own personal touch to reselling my own personal pre-owned items! You will find budget-friendly, quality items such as: vintage items, novelty items, branded items, quality de-tagged items, hand-made items, fun items, new and used stuff, and so much more! And you can trust that any item(s) purchased on our website or on our cross-listing platform(s) - will be nothing less than a quality and great value! One of the benefits of shopping RQT boutique is that some items are unique to it's original era, such as Y2K or latter, therefore making each item unique and exceptional!

One of my own core values is: "save it or salvage it!" Meaning, if there is no form of use for something, then it's useless! All items are inspected for quality assurance purposes to ensure transparency. This is done by pointing out minimum or minor details that may or may not necessarily or totally affect the integrity, quality, or longevity of an item ie..: appearance, button, light stains, snags, zipper, flaws, snags - any "manufactured" or "wear and tear", that may aesthetically or functionally affect an item or product. Therefore allowing "you" our buyer(s) to make an informed decision as to buy or not. Additionally, being "thrift" in nature, expect to find a variety of curated items of various brands and are in great wearable and operable condition. Also, new items are listed as I continue to de-clutter - so you gotta stay connected to take advantage of these rare finds!
